Literacy For All
Our mission is to increase adult and childhood literacy in Lumpkin County. Lumpkin Literacy hosts fundraising events and proudly supports our community partners in their efforts to promote learning. We assist Community Helping Place with their "Well Read Well Fed" summer program and the library with the March Family Read-in. Other events we are involved with, througout the year, include our work with Lumpkin County Schools and Lanier Technical College.
Support the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program for Lumpkin County Children, birth to 5 years old, by attending our Adult Spelling Bee and Variety Show and/or donating below. All proceeds will be used to fund the program for current and new participants. Currently we serve 750 children in Lumpkin County. Your support helps us provide a learning opportunity for a young reader in our county.
